MEP ASSOCIATES will produce Operating and Maintenance Manuals and instruction documentation to comply with Client, and Health and Safety Executive requirements.
MEP ASSOCIATES have developed a professional approach to the production of Operating and Maintenance Manuals, ensuring availability of accurate and useful documentation. These can either be produced as conventional hard copies or as an electronic version using our ICOM 2025 © (Interactive Computerised Operating and Maintenance Manual) programme; suitable for all computer platform types.
This latest development retains simplicity of operation and incorporates useful hyperlinks and bookmarks, which enable the User to move around the document and find information at the click of a mouse button.
Manufacturers' Literature, Test and Commissioning Reports and As Installed Drawings can be incorporated into the Manual for viewing, or alternatively, a 'linked' viewer can be provided which offers greater facilities for manipulating and printing these images.
Operating and Maintenance Manuals comprising only standard manufacturers' literature with inadequate specific written documentation, as commonly provided, prove to be of little use. MEP ASSOCIATES ensure that their manuals provide adequate information for the user and maintenance personnel to understand the systems, develop a suitable Planned Preventative Maintenance Programme and correctly operate and maintain the systems.
Many aspects of maintenance are now the subject of legislation introduced by the Health and Safety Executive which, unless adequately carried out and documented, can result in prosecution of the Client and/or their employees.
The documentation can be provided in English, French, German or Spanish, to typical Building Industry, Off-Shore or Ships Operating Procedure Standards.
